PHOTOS: Kicking off holiday shopping

BY REBECCA BENNETT — Several local businesses and area retailers participated in Black/Green Friday. The Brentwood Arts Exchange is offering 20% everything in store until 7 p.m. Friday.  Big Bad Woof is offering 15% off until 8 p.m. Friday.  Community Forklift said their store is 30% off today until 6 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday.

Many other local businesses are open and offering discounts online, as well as on goods and services Saturday and the rest of this weekend. Check out our shopping guide for more details.
