PHOTOS: Santa attends Fire Safety Day to help promote fire safety
By CODI GUGLIUZZ — Santa Claus took a break from his North Pole duties to meet local kids and help promote fire safety on December 15 at the Hyattsville Volunteer Fire Department station. Sporting toy fire helmets from volunteer firefighters, children of all ages whispered or loudly declared their Christmas wishes to Santa and posed for photos near the Christmas tree. Marshall the Pup, from the TV show Paw Patrol, greeted kids and parents outside the station, where children were encouraged to explore the fire trucks.
