Update, Feb. 1, 10:30 p.m. By KRISSI HUMBARD — Hyattsville City Police Sgt. Zach Nemser says the missing teenage girl, who made a threat of suicide before going missing, has returned home.
Nyaja McClam, a 15-year-old black female who is 5 feet 8 inches and 240 pounds, was last seen on Jan. 31 at approximately 5 p.m. by a roommate. McClam, born Sept. 24, 2002, lives at 2606 Kirkwood Place in Hyattsville. Police say McClam suffers from PTSD and depression and made a threat of suicide prior to leaving her home. She is believed to be wearing black pants, a white polo shirt, black jacket, and red shoes at the time of her disappearance.
